You will learn the settings on your machine for free motion, how to fix basic tension problems, and how to prevent puckering. We will practice free motion and thread painting skills before embarking on the flower. Circles often present the most challenges, so we'll begin by focusing on mastering this technique first. I'll also show you easy ways to create patterns without needing to know how to draw!

  • Absolutely! Beginners and experienced artists are welcome in my classes. I teach each technique step by step and create a supportive place where you can ask questions, experiment, and learn at your own pace. Progress—not perfection—is the goal.

  • No drawing experience is needed for many of my classes. I’ll guide you through the process with clear demonstrations and plenty of encouragement. Any special experience needed will be listed in the class description.

  • Each class description includes the skill level, techniques, and what you’ll create. If you’re still unsure, please send me a message. I’ll be happy to help you choose a class that feels right for where you are in your creative journey.

  • A supply list will be provided for each class. Supplies vary depending on the technique, but you’ll receive the information you need so you can arrive prepared and ready to create.

  • Select the class that interests you and use the registration link provided. When a class is hosted by a quilt shop, the shop will handle registration and payment. If a registration link is not available yet, please contact me for more information.

  • You can expect clear demonstrations, guided practice, individual help, and time to explore. Questions, experimentation, and imperfect stitches are always welcome. My goal is for you to leave with new skills, greater confidence, and excitement to keep creating.
